Inductive paragraph

Nowadays in spite of scientific advances, many of people are superstitious. Some of lettered people believe that number 13 is unfortunate and disastrous, so some buildings omit a thirteen floor. Some of intelligent persons still believe that the arrangement of tea leaves in a cup predicts the future. Some of educated people believe that they should delay their work if they sneeze.   

Gasoline is one of our country's problems. Although the main export of Iran is oil, importing several million liters of gasoline has made it a dependent country in this field. Because of high price of gasoline in the countries from which Iran imports it, the government of Iran should pay a great deal of money as subsidization. In addition, the consumption of gasoline causes air pollution and very dangerous consequences. 

Comments: Basically, this is a good paragraph, but the idea developed in the paragraph is not much interesting because it is too broad. Try to concentrate on one of the ideas expressed in the paragraph like "air pollution" and write a paragraph about it. 

   Ali Ibn Abitaleb was the first rightful leader of Muslims after holy prophet Muhammad's death. When the holy prophet had brought his fam-ily together and invited them to accept his religion and said that the first person who accepts his call would be his viceregent (deputy), the only     person to accept his call was Imam Ali. The holy prophet said to Imam Ali ''You are to me what the prophet Harun was to Prophet Moses''. The prophet of Islam upon returning from the farewell pilgrimage (the last hadj in his life) stopped in Ghadir khum(,) assembled the people and chose Imam Ali as the first leader of Islam.

Comments: With many thanks to Mr. Haj-Abuli, I should say that this paragraph is very good with a unified structure. The only problem might be Coherence.
